Painterly and romantic, Splash brings Gardner’s color-loving sensibility to a favorite inspiration, water. Translated from her ink painting, the design offers pleasant irregularity in an overall pattern, all the better to furnish with, my dear. 

We present Splash in all wool or silk/wool combination. In all wool, the colors are more saturated and contemporary, while with silk splashes a more watercolor effect is produced, drawing on silk’s natural duality and sheen. Depending on palette and texture, this rug is equally at home in transitional, contemporary and even mixed-traditional, settings.
